Volunteer

The success of our projects such as Project Light to Read depends partly on other young people who are passionate about eradicating poverty, clean access to energy, quality education and climate change and willing to volunteer in one way or another. If you are passionate about these topics and are willing to spare some time, we will be glad to have you on board.

Here are some of the many ways you can volunteer:

• Be a Researcher / Field Assistant in Light to Read project helping to gather data of spotted communities living without electricity to understand more about their challenges.
• Be a technical contributor working on some of our designs and ideas for efficient solar lamp production
• Be a mentor or motivator to Project teams.
• Help with organizing and planning of the projects
• Help us raise funds or connect us with people who can help us raise funds and donate to our project cause.
• Help us publicize our projects by sharing our posts, writing about Light My World on your blog, or linking us to radio, TV, media or news sites who can give us publicity.
• Helping us with photography / video recordings during project implementation phase and storytelling.
• Helping us design and improve our curriculum on Renewable energy concepts to be introduce in our subsequent education on renewable energy and how to conserve the nature.
• Helping with graphic and poster designs if you are a graphic design or more inclined to multimedia
• Helping us generate relevant, interesting content for our website and social media pages.
• Reporting on the Program.

Wherever you are, whatever you do, you can sure be a volunteer shaping the dreams of others for good.
