Our Projects

Light to Read

Social Project

Research has shown that the existing educational performance gap between students with limited access to electricity and their colleagues of the same grade in the urban areas is at least two years. The objective of the Light to Read! program is to provide all students living in communities without electricity with a solar powered LED lamp to encourage them to read after school hours. All students without access to electricity in their homes will have a constant, safe, efficient and healthy light source to revise and complete their homework. Students with poor reading skills will learn to read more and increase their reading speed, comprehension, and as well as boost their confidence to actively participate in the classroom.

Education is the best way to out of poverty. Actually, there are many regions that children are out of school because some families can’t afford educational materials of their kids. In order to change perception and give education for people, we will distribute a backpack filled with educational materials to every child. This is a big charity activity, so it need more time and donation.

Water of Life – WASH (Water, Sanitation and Hygiene)

Social Project

Poor sanitation, lack of access to clean water supply and inadequate personal hygiene are responsible for 90% of diarrheal disease occurrences in most developing countries.

Light My World is committed to helping children enjoy life in all its fullness by working with families, communities, and partners and access to safe water, improved sanitation and hygiene practices form the first pillars towards health and wellbeing of children, their families, and the communities they live in. As such, Light My World believes that every child deserves safe water.
The goal of the WASH Program is reducing the prevalence of diarrheal diseases among children caused by poor access to WASH services and reducing the economic and social burden brought about by the lack of access to clean water, sanitation and hygiene on children and families in our project intervention areas.
