About Us

WHO WE ARE

Addressing the Energy challenges of families living in grid less villages in Ghana and across Africa.

Close to 600 million people in sub-Saharan Africa live without grid electricity.

This lack of modern energy services severely limit educational and economic opportunities, as well as negatively impacting day-to-day quality of life and health. Those without electricity often use polluting and expensive lighting sources such as kerosene lamps or candles. The fumes of which can cause serious health problems.

Moreover, without access to electricity, over 3.5 million Africans die every year from harmful pollutants or fires in the home produced by costly and toxic solid fuels.

Modern, high-quality off-grid lighting and energy products such as solar power lamps offer a real and sustainable alternative to the off-grid population.

To meet these challenges, Light My World International has been created to bring clean, renewable and affordable energy solutions primarily to rural and off-grid areas in Ghana and Africa.

WHAT WE DO

The goal of the Light My World International is to provide solutions to the energy crisis in rural communities of Ghana and the Africa sub region through innovative, clean and accessible solar solutions – including: solar powered LED lamps, home-based solar kits, and recharge stations.

Starting from Ghana, Light My World International seeks to extends its operations to other countries in the continent where the challenge is eminent. Using solar technology, we will provide solar lamps that can generate hours of bright and safe light which can last between 6 hours – 12 hours during the evening and hours. A clean, affordable source of light brightens the household for family to enjoy and benefit from.

With our introduction of LED solar powered lamps, it will save families great deal of amount spent on burning kerosene or candles within a month and over the year.
