Light to Read project featured at the Y20 Summit

Light to Read project got featured at Y20 Summit in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on the Sustainable Development -Global Citizenship track. We are happy to share our work in promoting access to clean energy solutions to off-grid communities in Ghana. This is a continues project which we are committed to advancing the SDGs and bridging the gap between the urban grown youth and the youth from hard to reach communities.

Light to Read project is an innovative, impactful and practical project that provides students with portable solar powered lamps to enable students living in communities without electricity have clean energy to read and study after sunset. This removes away the use of kerosene lamps, candles and inefficient source of light that causes health problems and physical harm to such students and families.

Light My World international continues its mission to lift millions out of energy poverty by 2030 in helping reach the Sustainable development Goals .

Panellists of the Summit expressed great importance and impact of Light to Read project and added only if there were more of such initiatives, the world would have been a better place.
